Since 2010, work that carries the tools of data science and international economics beyond the university — from post-earthquake Haïti to a data-science programme for young women across francophone Africa.

Founding president of an NGO started in 2011, after a mission in Haïti for the Inter-American Development Bank following the terrible 2010 earthquake. The IDB and the Haïtian government were building a new plan for education; back in the US that summer, that work became edhaiti.org.
